Description
Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD) is a by-product obtained during the physical refining of crude palm oil (CPO).
It mainly contains free fatty acids (FFA), triglycerides, and small quantities of tocopherols and sterols.
PFAD is non-edible and widely used in the oleochemical, soap, biofuel, and animal feed industries.
It is a sustainable, cost-effective raw material and is exported globally from Indonesia and Malaysia.
