Buttermilk Powder is produced by removing water from liquid buttermilk — a byproduct of butter production — using advanced spray drying technology. It retains the characteristic tangy flavor and functional dairy solids such as proteins and phospholipids.
This shelf-stable ingredient is widely used in bakery, dairy-based beverages, snacks, and processed foods due to its ability to improve flavor, texture, emulsification, and browning.
